What we process and why
Visiting the website
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which delivers it through Cloudflare’s global network. When you open the site, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, requested URL, referrer and browser/OS identification. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it against attacks and abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Processor: Cloudflare acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which covers transfers to the USA.
- Retention: request logs are kept only for the short period set by Cloudflare and then deleted.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts and icons are served from our own domain, not from third-party CDNs.
Contact form, e-mail and phone
If you contact us, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, message, and any other details you include) in order to answer your enquiry and, if relevant, prepare an offer or contract.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Processor: the contact form is delivered by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which forwards the message to our mailbox. Transfers outside the EEA rely on safeguards under Chapter V GDPR (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Retention: as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. If a business relationship follows, correspondence is kept for the periods required by Slovak law (e.g. accounting records for 10 years).
Google Maps (only with your consent)
The contact page can show a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is not loaded until you click “Show map” or choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. Once loaded, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
